Appointment in Samarra
Based on W. Somerset Maugham's retelling of an ancient Mesopotamian tale of the same name - this is a short story exploring fate for Mini Jam 96.
With the limitation of 'Losing is good' there is only one "ending" but multiple paths with different outcomes in this very compact text based game.
My first outing with Twine and made in a few hours over an evening and an afternoon.
